Soundarya and Warner Bros are in the process of signing a slew of films in South Indian languages. After Tamil and Telugu, her company has signed big names in Malayalam cinema including Mohan Lal , directors Jayaraj and Shaji Kailash. The latest additions from the Kollywood brigade are directors Gautham Menon and Lingusamy . A close source from Ocher revealed that Soundarya is keen on roping in Amitabh Bachchan for the Tamil film, which will be directed by Gautham.
According to sources, Soundarya wanted to discuss the script with Amitabh last week, but she wasn’t able to do so because of his sudden hospitalisation. Amitabh will play a key role in the movie. Soundarya plans to meet the Big B this weekend after which a formal announcement will be made.
